The Alaska Hostel Association (AHA) is a network of hostel accommodation providers hosting guests from around the world. Our intent is to further the values of hostelling in general, to assist the budget traveler in locating safe, inexpensive, supervised accommodations, and to provide a networking forum for our members to share information and mutual support. We do not evaluate or limit our members based on arbitrary standards so our membership is both diverse and unregulated. We hope that you will evaluate our state's hostels on your own, and support those you like with referrals and recommendations. You may also send your comments and experiences to us. This web site is made available by financial contributions by our member hostels, please consider them first when planning your stay. Hostels are an inexpensive, safe, supervised accommodations for travelers of all ages. Most hostels provide dormitory-style shared rooms which are commonly, but not always, segregated by gender. Hostelling is popular in part, because it offers guests the opportunity to meet other travelers from all over the world and make life-long friendships. The following is a list of hostel accommodations in Alaska. We have tried to include all hostels, whether members of the association or not, to help you, the traveler. For reservations and information please contact the individual hostels directly! Click on Underlined hostels to access their individual web sites or emails |
